Unser heutiges Tagesziel, die Gletscherzungen die im Süden aus dem Vatnajökull herausragen. Leider war das Wetter da unten furchtbar. Am Pass Almannaskarð hätte der schönste Ausblick des Landes sein sollen - leider hatten wir auch das schlechteste Wetter des Landes … soviel zum Ausblick… Naja, und dann bei der Abfahrt vom Almannaskarð haben wir uns auch noch einen Platten vorne rechts zugezogen und mussten im kalten Regen Reifen wechseln! Hmpf! Today’s final destination is the glacier south of Vatnajökull. Unfortunately the weather was terrible. At the pass Almannaskarð was supposed to be the best lookout point of the island - actually we had the worst weather of the island … and when we went down the old road we destroyed one of our tires and had to change it in the pouring rain!
